Joseph Pappa is from the U.S.A. He received his Ph.D. in English from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and his MA from Villanova University. He has taught mainly in U.S. colleges, but he has spent the last two years teaching in China. He has taught a variety of literature classes and introductory writing classes. Joseph has many publications and conference papers.

With almost fifteen years of teaching experience, Joseph has taught college literature and composition at the following schools: SUNY-Binghamton; Villanova University; the Pennsylvania State University; and Brookdale Community College. For the last two years he has been teaching in China. He has also served as a private tutor to high school students and edited academic texts for colleagues. In addition to a book, he has published several reviews and notes in academic journals.
